Texas Caviar, Instapot Black Eyed Peas

Texas Caviar
  • 1 lb Black Eyed Peas, cooked
  • 32 oz Italian Dressing
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic, minced
  • salt to taste
Directions
  • Layer ingredients together, being careful not to break up peas.
  • Fold together gently, let marinate.
  • Serve as you would caviar, of course!
Instapot Black Eyed Peas
  • 1 lb Black Eyed Peas, dried
Directions
  • Presoak black eyed peas in salted water at least 4 hours
  • Fill pot with salted water, 1-2 quarts
  • Cook 5 minutes with natural release
  • Drain
